CHAPTER 1
Claws flashed, whiskers twitched, teeth sank into fur. A silver tabby ducked under flattering paws and knocked the spike-furred tabby tom off his paws. "Ooof," he growled as he collapsed onto the hard rocky shore of a small river. "That, Moonpaw, is how to do the paw-throw." said the silver tabby to a younger silver she-cat. "Next time you demonstrate that move Silvercreek, could you 'throw' me onto a softer piece of land?" hissed the tom to the silver tabby. Silvercreek cast him a glance and sighed, "the softest spot you could land on, Thornpelt, is the river, and I don't think you'd want to spend time in that freezing cold water

Moonleaf's Story~Prologue
PROLOGUE
"Duck, roll, swing up, and now knock my hind legs out from under me." Ordered a muscular tabby tom to a younger brown tom. The young tom obeyed, copying the older tom's orders move for move. The older cat jumped to his feet after the younger tom had knocked his legs out from under him. "You're getting better, Bearpaw, but you still fight like an apprentice and we can't have those kind of cats around here." "Sharpfang? I have a question." mewed Bearpaw. "Yes?" snarled Sharpfang, his amber eyes gleaming. "How many cats, other than me and Fierceclaw, have you recruited so far?" "Almost half of the clan." "Oh, okay. That's great!" Bearp

"We have to talk," Ferretpaw whispered in Flamepaw's ear.
Why would he want to talk to me? Flamepaw wondered.
"Come on. Make an excuse," Ferretpaw urged.
"Okay..." She ran up to Morningheart. "I have a thorn in my pad," She lied, "I have to go get it out."
"Do you want me to help you?" Morningheart asked.
"No, I got it."
Flamepaw ran back to Ferretpaw, who beckoned for her to follow him behind a willow tree.
"What is it?" Flamepaw asked, "and hurry; my clanmates are waiting."
Ferretpaw took a deep breath. "I had a dream," he began, "and you, well, you were in it."
Flamepaw gasped. They had dreams about each other!
"And... a

Flamepaw trotted off the fallen tree and onto the Gathering island behind her mentor, Morningheart. She took a seat near some apprentices.
"Hi, who are you?" A ShadowClan she-cat asked.
"Flamepaw, from ThunderClan," she answered.
"Oh, hi. I'm Blossompaw. This is Ravenpaw, Whitepaw and Duskpaw," she said. Ravenpaw smelled of ShadowClan as well, while Whitepaw and Duskpaw smelled of RiverClan.
"We've got at least one from every Clan except WindClan," Flamepaw pointed out.
"Well, there's a WindClan apprentice named Ferretpaw who'll be here any moment," Blossompaw said. "And here he is now!"
"Hi guys, who's this?" Ferretpaw aske

"Flamepaw, calm down. You've been to Gatherings before! Why are you so excited?" Morningheart asked. The warrior was strong enough to recover from what Foxfang, the medicine cat, had confirmed was greencough. But now Morningheart was better, and he was taking Flamepaw to the Gathering.
"Is Ashpaw coming?" Flamepaw asked, suddenly wondering where her brother went.
"You'll have to ask Foxfang that," Morningheart said solemnly.
Without waiting for a reply, Flamepaw dashed towards the medicine cat's den, scared. Why was Ashpaw in the medicine den? "Foxfang!" Flamepaw yowled.
"What?" The medicine cat answered, padding out of the

Flamepaw's fur was drenched. Her blue eyes blinked as a water droplet landed on her nose. She heard a crack of thunder, and looked over onto the moorland to see the strange black and ginger tabby out there again.
"Who are you?" she called, as water splashed onto her tongue. Flamepaw spat it out, and tried calling again.
The tabby turned his head to look at her, and again, he vanished mysteriously. All Flamepaw could tell was that she thought it was a tom, because of his broad shoulders and long legs, and that he had gleaming yellow eyes that bore into hers. The gaze of the tom seemed unreadable, yet familiar.
That's it! Fla

Flamepaw's Prophecy - Part 1

Flamepaw was walking through a field, the air smelling of the forest. She was never in the Clans' old territory, because she was born in the new territories. But somehow Flamepaw knew this wasn't her home, but the home of her ancestors.
Flamepaw looked up suddenly, her blue gaze out on the moorland. A black and ginger cat was strolling over the hills, far off, out of Flamepaw's reach.
She tried calling to the cat, when he suddenly vanished from sight. Flamepaw opened her mouth to utter a screech but made no sound as she was plunged into darkness.
Flamepaw opened her eyes to see Ashpaw, her brother, standing over her.
"We h
